Prof. Dr. Iman El-Gendy is a consultant in reproductive medicine, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and clinical director of Rahem Fertility Centers in Egypt. She earned a specialised PhD in reproductive medicine from Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
She is the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Egyptian Foundation for Reproductive Medicine and Embryology (EFRE) for 2023–2027, and served as President of the EFRE International Conference in 2024.
She has authored and co-authored numerous studies in leading international journals — including the Green Journal, Human Reproduction, Fertility and Sterility, and RBM Online — and has written chapters in international textbooks.
Her research interests include ovarian reserve, optimising controlled ovarian stimulation protocols, fertility preservation, and endometrial preparation in vitrified-warmed embryo cycles.
