Step 1: Initial Consultation and Testing
Every IVF journey starts with a full fertility assessment. Your doctor will evaluate:

Step 2: Low-Dose Ovarian Stimulation

Common medications and dosages include :
- Clomiphene citrate 50 to 100 mg daily or Letrozole for 5 days

Step 3: Monitoring and Trigger Shot

Step 4: Egg Retrieval
This is a short outpatient procedure performed under light anesthesia. Using ultrasound guidance, the doctor gently aspirates the follicles to collect the eggs — a process called Egg Retrieval.

Step 5: Fertilization and Embryo Culture
Once the eggs are retrieved, they’re fertilized in the lab using conventional IVF or ICSI, depending on sperm quality.
The embryos are cultured for 3 to 5 days in carefully controlled conditions. Some clinics use time-lapse imaging to monitor development without disturbing the embryos.

Step 6: Embryo Transfer

You’ll then begin progesterone support and return for a pregnancy test about 10 to 12 days after transfer.
